Al Azhar 11 Surabaya (Alsebaya) Young Learners English Test (AYLET) 2024 designed to assess the English language skills of the students of SD Islam Al Azhar 11. The tests will encourage students to communicate in real life situations. AYLET is such an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English.
SD Islam Al Azhar 11 successfully held the test on Saturday, 9th November 2024 in east campus and on Friday, 29th November 2024 in west campus. The participants of this program were the students in Primary 3 to Primary 5. Beyond its main objective to measure and level-up the English language skills of the students, the test aimed to motivate them not to stop learning and practicing English.
As Allah SWT mentions in the Quran surah Al Zumar Verse 9, “Are those who know equal to those who do not know? Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding.”
This verse emphasizes the distinction between those who possess knowledge and those who do not. It encourages believers to become people of understanding and to recognize the elevated status of those who seek knowledge.
SD Islam Al Azhar 11 will try to always facilitate all students to improve their English language skills. Therefore, they will be able to compete on the national and international levels.
