On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, SD Islam Al Azhar 11 held its highly anticipated Amaliyah Ramadan peak event, which was enthusiastically attended by students, teachers, parents, and support staff. This joyous occasion embodied the true spirit of Ramadan, fostering a sense of community, compassion, and devotion. As mentioned in Surah Al-‘Asr verses 1-3: “By the time. Indeed, mankind is in loss, except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds.”
The event commenced with Safari Ramadan, a charitable initiative where students, teachers, and parents distributed food packages to those in need in the surrounding community. This selfless act exemplified the values of empathy, kindness, and generosity that are at the heart of Ramadan.
Following Safari Ramadan, the students and staff shared takjil (breaking fast snacks) with passing motorcyclists and pedestrians. This thoughtful gesture not only provided sustenance to those in need but also served as a reminder of the importance of community and social responsibility.
After the outdoor activities, students gathered back at school to announce the winners of the Amaliyah Ramadan journal competition. Three top achievers from each class were recognized for their outstanding efforts, promoting a sense of friendly competition and academic excellence.
The evening culminated in a breaking fast together ceremony, followed by Maghrib and Tarawih prayers. These collective acts of worship strengthened the bonds of unity and solidarity among the school community.
SD Islam Al Azhar 11’s Amaliyah Ramadan peak event was a resounding success, showcasing the school’s commitment to fostering a culture of compassion, generosity, and devotion. As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close, the school community remains steadfast in its pursuit of spiritual growth, academic excellence, and social responsibility.
